Which UK directories matter most? Start with the big general ones: Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yell, Thomson Local and Facebook. Then add trade and industry sites, such as Checkatrade, TrustATrader or MyBuilder for trades, the Law Society’s Find a Solicitor for solicitors, and Rightmove or Zoopla for estate agents. Finally, local sites: council business directories, chambers of commerce and town websites.
